Celebrate Tipperary Energy Agency’s 20th anniversary with a conference on energy and climate transition

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Tipperary energy agency is organising a conference on Citizens leading the Energy and Climate Transition together with the Covenant of Mayors.

In the framework of the National Dialogue on Climate Action, this conference will seek to develop capacity and knowledge of local actors to facilitate a successful energy and climate transition in their regions, with the support of citizens.

With the participation of representatives from local authorities, the Irish government and European institutions, the event will share success stories and hear from Europe’s leading regions in the field. Tipperary county council will present their own journey as signatories of the Covenant of Mayors, a European initiative bringing together thousands of local governments committed to implementing EU climate and energy objectives. Tipperary Energy Agency is a supporter of the Covenant of Mayors.
